I'm having a 21st birthday party and it'll be a Mardi Gras theme.
But I don't know about the invitations...I need something inexpensive, and unique. Any idea could be help...even if it isn't directly Mardi Gras.

Last year I had a big Mardi Gras party and looked everywhere for just the right Mardi Gras Party Invitations. Luckily, I found three websites that have real cute cards.

and its Mardi Gras cards are here: http://www.invitations-shoppe.com/products_List.asp?intCatID=5&catname=Mardi-Gras-Cards

All three of the sites are great and allow you to personalize your cards, and the preview it before you buy. They also offer same day printing and shipping and lots of Mardi Gras wording ideas and saying.

Hope this helps.

I would just cut mask out of different colored construction paper and you can type and print out or hand write the info inside. You can put glitter or whatever on the mask, and ribbons if you want,,really cheap, and cute,,or use glitter paint to decorate, easier, make sure you wait for it to dry...
or if you buy the blank invites and envelopes in the craft dept.like at wal-mart...just draw like green and purple mask on the outside and in..and color with markers...you might find a mask mardi Gras type stamp you could stamp outside of blank card...and color green and purple with markers.

Ok buy some very thick (like cardboard almost) shiny gold paper and cut out fancy crown designs. Then clue on sparkly jewels and, with either a silver or purple paint pen or black sharpie, write the info on the crowns in fancy cursivey looking writing. That would be so cute! have fun!

You could buy a pack of cheap feathers and glitter and make them on your own. Try to stick with gold, green, and purple. Maybe some can be masks and some can be beads or floats. That would be cool!
