Okay, my friends and I range in age from 24-30. Two opf my girlfriends have houses next door to eachother and they are opening up both backyards this weekend for a bit of a booze fest. We want a them, though. No costumes, please. Just a fun theme. We've already done the 70's, so that's out. We want something where we can icorporate the food and drinks into it as well. Thanks ahead of time for the ideas!!

After a friend served nice wine in plastic Halloween goblets at a formal party myself and some friends joked we should have a trailer trash party. We haven't done it yet, but the idea was fake names, trashy clothes, hair in curlers, pigs in a blanket, ho-hos and twinkies and some beer and a big tub of purple passion. You get the idea, just throw in some kids running around naked and a fat woman with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. PS- The friend wasn't trying to be trashy, she's just cluesless.

You've done the 70's, so why not now do the 50's? Party City stores have a slew of decorations around that theme. How about doing a Chinese theme. You could get some large paper lanterns to hang from the trees that you could light with Christmas lights. Look on line for red lucky coin envelopes to insert lucky coins for the guests. Buy fortune cookies, or make your own and insert your own fortunes. Buy Chinese take out food to serve. Look at these sites for more decorations with the Chinese theme.

I'm sure you dont want to spend a ton on decor and this time of year the dollar store has tons of luau stuff. Or also my neighbor had a Christmas in July party....I thought it was kinda odd looking though. She had Christmas stuff out and Christmas music playing but it was cute! I think they had some Christmas cookies and stuff like that...I dont know though. I was eve's dropping!

Well since it's summer and hot out. Why not have a WHITE party. Everyone dresses in white. Simple and can be outrageously fun.
