Go to Party City and look at the great 50's decorations they have. Serve food that you would get in a diner or a drive-in. Ice cream sodas or milkshakes would also be fun to serve. Pick up some Cd's of some good time Rock and Roll. Tell everyone to dress in the 50's style. Sounds like a party to me. You might get some other ideas at these web sites.

The Twist was a very big dance. Make sure you play Elvis, Bill Haley and the comets, Chubby Checker, Chuck Barrey, and Fats Domino. You could have a hula-hoop contest, a limbo contest. Serve Malt shop type food like patty melts and chili fries

Seriously- you HAVE to do what 'Party-Pam' said (I read your other post.) That's, like the best idea ever. And you ARE a 50's Girl At Heart, right? She did'nt steal the idea from a website- it was her birthday party! And, my uncle did a party like that for my grandma and my brother- and it was so cool! Except there weren't so many kid games and stuff. Good luck and have fun! Being 14 is awesome!
