I serve cocktails (loads of them, 25 combinations between Peach Melon Amaretto Coffee liquors, Cranberry Orange Lemonade Pineapple juices, etc!), Sprite, Coke, and a cake.
WHAT IS MISSING?

Sounds like you're gearing you party toward more of the "liquid refreshment" aspect as opposed to a real party with real food! Since you are going to be responsible for your guests leaving your house in various stages of inebriation, I would suggest three things:
1. Collect all car keys at the front door
2. Arrange for transportation home for anyone that has been drinking
3. Have some food for God's sake!
The more you drink, the more you need things to absorb the alcohol and since you are working on creating more exotic cocktails, might I suggest the following:
1. Coconut shrimp with a mango salsa
2. Egg rolls
3. Chicken teriyaki skewers
4. Cheese and crackers
5. Salads
6. Cold Cuts and artisan breads for sandwiches
7. Hawaiian Pizzas
Good luck and have a safe birthday!

I think a theme is the missing element here. It's great that you serve cocktails by the way..i'm sure that will be a real crowd pleaser!
It all depends what kind of party you want it to be..you could have a tropical party where you have a 'beach bar' where you serve the cocktails, adding little umbrellas and wearing hawaiian shirts.
How does that sound?

The *!#! food. Order some Pizzas for goodness sake!!!! All that alcohol and no food. You're asking for the worst hangover ever. Forget about the cake. Make sure you have some Gatorade and bottled water on hand too. Have a very safe and happy birthday.

You may be turning 18, but you are still underage for drinking or legally serving alcohol in most states. I would be very careful, if I were you- if the authorities find out about your party, they can arrest you- and they can also go after your parents for inviting in and serving alcohol to minors. A word to the wise.

You're missing MUSIC! Preferably live music. For an 18-year old's birthday party, I would hire a DJ. Not those type that just play CDs, I mean a DJ who has turntables. And make sure he brings all the bells and whistles - disco balls, laser lights, etc. Have fun!

Add some chips and pretzels and dips to go along with that. Do cheese and crackers. Maybe add some nuts and veggies and dip.

toasted ravioli. Actually not difficult to make but time consuming. And ravioli, not toasted. And asparagus.
