I recently read that puppies, because of their tender meat, are a favorite in many Asian countries such as, for instance, Vietnam. Question: has anyone ever tried puppy-roast?, how does it taste like? Can this be bought in the West?
Thanks

I'm having Thanksgiving at my house for the first time ever. I've got a box of scalloped potatoes and I want to add to it a bit. What do you think of this idea:
I want to add diced onion and some parmesan cheese before I cook it. Also, I thought of adding some onion powder (something I do to mac and cheese anyway and it's really good). What about a dash of Worcestershire sauce? Any other ideas?

But I don't have 3 eggs only 2, and they are regular "large" eggs. I also don't have many other ingredients for substitutions. I can't go to the store so if anyone knows if using just 2 eggs would be okay, or if I can use more water or oil? Thanks for your help.

Obviously discounted drinks right? Well my radio station saids " So-so club drink specials all night long" and another club saids drink specials before 11pm.. so what difference is there between a "special" and a "notspecial" price?. I go clubs often and i just pay whatever the bartender asks but never paid attention to exact cost cuz they never have a "Menu" lol. So should I pay attention to the "DRINK SPECIALs?" Is it THAT much of a difference. Maybe I should I should i watch mywallet more often,

This recipe was one my mother in law told me about year ago and it was made with ginger nut biscuits. I know u mixed them with something and not sure if it was marg or condensed milk or maybe both. You then spread this in a baking tray let it cool and then poured melted chocolate on top. Anyone heard of this?????

I have no experience with baking soda.
But I do have experience using yeast; I put the yeast in water for several minutes then heat my bread slightly to get it to rise after kneading it.
Do you just put baking soda into the cake, then bake it in the oven; doing nothing special for the baking soda in the cake unlike you do the yeast in bread?

Doe anyone know what this recipe is called.

It has chicken breasts, some sort of creamy sauce, and slices of that meat that comes in a glass jar (some sort of dried beef) at the grocery store. You bake it.

If anyone can tell me this and/or at least tell me what the meat is called, 10 points! Recipe would be great too!

I really don't understand it. Since I moved to the U.S., I haven't had a single good pizza. Not that they were bad - but compared to pizza in Italy, pizza here is not even close. Even if you go to a high class Italian restaurant, pizza is often not even on the menu. Has anybody else observed this phenomenon? Is it the ingredients or do the chefs not put in the same amount of effort? Or is it a difference in taste? (I am not Italian, btw.)

I find recipes for perfect roast turkey to be a bit confusing. Many say that a turkey is perfectly done when the breast temperature reaches 165degF and thigh is 175degF. So, these recipes say that the bird should be removed from the oven when such temperatures are reached (as read with an instant read thermometer). But when the bird is removed from the oven and allowed to rest before carving, the temperature will continue to rise a few degrees. So . . . shouldn't the bird be removed from the oven when the breast is a few degrees below 165degF and allowed to "coast" up to that ideal temperature? Or is the expected increase in temperature taken into account when the bird is removed at breast temperature of 165degF, in which case the perfect temperature is really a few degrees above 165degF?

I like mozzarella but it tends to melt to freely and sometimes my pizza ends up looking messy. And to tell you the truth, they sell it quite expensive here in Russia.

Are there any options where the cheese melts, but the texture is a little tough and crunchy as it hardens?
