This recipe was one my mother in law told me about year ago and it was made with ginger nut biscuits. I know u mixed them with something and not sure if it was marg or condensed milk or maybe both. You then spread this in a baking tray let it cool and then poured melted chocolate on top. Anyone heard of this?????

Sorry, I haven't heard of it but my Great-Aunt gave me a recipe she uses to make bars on a jellyroll pan (cookie sheet with sides). It's called Almond Roca Bars. If you can't find your recipe, maybe you can use this recipe instead? It also has poured melted chocolate on top.

ALMOND ROCA BARS

1/2 c white sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 c butter
1 egg yolk
1 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 (4 oz) chocolate bar
Chopped almonds

Mix sugar, butter and egg yolk. Add flour and salt. Flatten mixture out in a jellyroll pan 15x11". Bake in 325º oven for 25 minutes. Meanwhile melt chocolate for topping. When above mixture is baked, spread melted chocolate over all and sprinkle chopped almonds over the chocolate. Cut into squares or bars.
