When I was younger, I lived in Abilene Texas and attended Stephen F Austin Elementary. There was a lady that worked in the cafeteria, and she made the best chocolate cookies...I am not really even sure if they were Sugar cookies, but that it the closest that I can come to describing them

I vaguely remember a recipie for apple pie that I made in my food prep class. If I remember correctly, we covered the apples in baking soda and then sprinkled cinnamon and sugar. Does this sound right? I think the baking soda was used to thicken the juice.

Please help with meal planning for cub scout weekend campout! I need help with the food list including quantities. There will be 34 people total kids and adults.

The requirements are:
1.Real Cheap
2.Easy to fix (camp stove only)
3.Kids can prepare
4.Compact to haul

The meals are:

Friday
Late evening "cracker barrel" snack

Saturday
Breakfast
Lunch

They make gelatin by boiling animal parts. They make fertilizer, used on your produce, by boiling animal parts. Both are made from the same "pot" of boiling animal parts.

Why is gelatin avoided like the plague but you will all eat the produce and don't demand that it be fertilized differently?

Before you say it, "organic" produced is fertilized this way as well.

I picked up pizza at 9:00 last night - fell asleep on the couch - and the pizza didn't make it to the fridge till around 9:00 this morning. It's 3:00 in the afternoon now and I'm hungry and it's really good pizza.

I wanted to eat my printer, so I unplugged it. The computer displayed an error message and said that a device had been unplugged. Now I'm wondering if computers can feel pain. Obviously this was a stress response to one of its parts being taken away. How can they be vegan?
