I need to buy an extra nice bottle of red wine for a dear friend. He loves good California Zinfandels and Australian Shiraz. There are so many to choose from. Can anyone make a suggestion. My price range is up to $50

I have never tried spinach, tomato, or feta with my eggs. Actually, I've never tried feta. Is it good? What does it taste like?

ok, i have a small problem. i live with my boyfriend and we are both strict vegetarians (not vegan) of 7+ year. i've recently decided i'd like to try eating fish. my body feels like i need to eat something with rich protein. last time i mentioned this he gave me the "gross" look. i know he doesn't want me to eat fish. i was thinking of eating it and hiding it from him, but this doesn't sound like a good idea for our relationship.

anyone have suggestions? should i tell him i'm going to eat it and only eat it when he's not around? i would really like to cook it at home, but is that disrespectful?

I'm not sure what kind of answers i'm trying to get. maybe just another opinion than my own.

I bought some from my local farmers market because it looked good, but I have never made it before! The man selling it said it works sort of like pasta - so I can put marinara on it - but does anyone know any good recipes to serve with it or on it or in it?

I have some fresh onion, mushroom, bell pepper, green onion, and tomatoes - would this go with it? Like in it?

Help!

Ok... So, I chopped fresh garlic the other day for the first time (I usually use that powdered or jarred garlic), and my hands reek! It's been a couple of days since I chopped it, and I can't get the smell off. I've washed my hands so much they are chapped, but that god foresaken smell is still on my hands. UGH!

Does anyone have any tips or tricks to get it off, besides soap? Soap doesn't seem to work, lol.

Another poster had this as an answer and it needed further discussion:

"Tofutti makes a lot of non-dairy products.....sour cream, cream cheese, sliced cheese, chip dip, mayonnaise. I assumed everything they made was vegan, but apparently they make an egg "replacer" that is made with eggs. I don't get that at all, but all their other products are completely vegan."

Can somebody shed some light on this contradiction?

If you have a fact to present, please include a reliable link. Thanks.

They looked like plain old scrambled, but slightly dry and a delectable almost peppery flavor without being hot or having black pepper added. Someone said to try pepperoncini, but I must've tried wrong, cause they didn't taste right. She grew up in Minnesota in the 1890's if that helps. Thank you so much.
