Hi! I've been a vegetarian for close to a year now and am toying with the idea of being vegan. I have always wanted to, but being under 18, I don't want to create extra expenses for my parents, nor do I want to pay for special foods (i.e. soy ice cream) My dad and brother are vegetarians so it has not been hard to find food, but I am a horrible cook and don't want to make my parents cook foods special just for me. So, I am looking for a long list of vegan foods (NOT recipes), or possibly a book with a long list? I'm aware of the one by peta, but i was wondering if there was perhaps a longer one?

I am too much of a sushi snob--- meaning that I am a purist when it comes to sushi. I prefer nigiris and traditonal rolls (none of that shrimp tempura/mango/avecodo overkill stuff). But I am seeing someone who does not eat sushi. How do I break him in? What are some delicious items that will mask all fishy tastes? I'd imagine recommending uni would be way too much for him. :)

i worked hard all morning looking forward to a decent steak pie to eat at dinner and all i got was pastry! pastry! i mean what the f++k are doing? what do they do cook the beef till its falling apart then strain it so you get no chunks of meat then add the chunks of fat and grissle give me a decent pie please someone im on my knees here!!! oh bo+llocks what does it matter the person in the shop that sold it to me isn't listening or reading but i feel glad to get it off my chest
