I am making a beef brisket in the oven and after roasting on high heat for an hour uncovered, the recipe says to cover the brisket and reduce the heat and cook for another 3 hours. Will tin foil work OK as a "cover" or should I go out and buy a special roasting pan? Or should I maybe try a glass Pyrex dish? I have covers for that casserole dish. This is for an important work dinner and I really don't want to mess up the dish. Thanks for the help!

I heard something kind of scary from a middle-eastern woman, she said not to drink pepsi after october 7th i think it was... she said it was because "her people" (?) are going to start doing something to it? I dont know if i should believe this. I have nothing at all against middle-eastern people, i am friends with many. But this is kind of a scary thought. Has anyone else heard anything about it?

I live in Central Texas and our local grocery store, H.E.B. and/or Central Market carries a pretty great variety of produce. Being a curious chef, I typically linger over the more unique items in the store. One that has always intrigued me was the little bundle of dried manzanilla--it looks like a small bundle of thin twigs or kindling and smells like fresh cut grass. I cannot find anything on the internet about it except that it is a relative of the chamomile flower. All other searches for manzanilla bring up the Sherry from Spain and the olive varietal, which I was already familiar with. What are these little twigs used for??? I even bought a bundle since it was only $0.49, but I'd like to do something with it instead of looking at it. I was thinking it may be used in some sort of Mexican soup or broth...thoughts?

Ever since becoming vegetarian I have been a lot more tired and way less energy. I take lots of vitamins every day. I try to eat healthy. I dont get enough protein and its very hard to do so. I am wonderng if vegetable protein is even the same as meat protein. Because no matter how much veggie protein I get I still feel the same. what do i do?
