I know that some animals in the wild have this diet characteristic and it works for them. Do you think it can work for us?

Darren R, the meat industry is counting on people like you. The whole "you need meat for protein" marketing ploy continues to deceive people who can't think for themselves.

Would that strickly speaking be a vegan diet though. Eating animal waste matter, especially if the animal had eaten meat first. mmm. Why dont you give it a go and tell us what it tastes like. Might be nice then you could start a chain of bars selling poo smoothies

Uh, corprophagy means "eating poop." I don't plan on trying that any time soon.

PS: Milk and eggs are not vegan, I understood that. But poop is? You lost me.

I hope you're putting us on. The only corprophagus people I ever heard of were patients in the state mental hospital I used to work for. I don't mean that as a joke or insult, I'm simply stating a fact.

Erm, I'm sorry to break it to you but NO! Your metabolism is different from those animals, and that just won't work for you. You'll lose weight, if that's your intention, but the side effects (like, for instance, DEATH) won't be worth it.

Veganism is a man-made extreme condition, and the human body requires some animal-based protein. At best you'll find a compromise that works for a while. Do your research properly, and you'll realise that.

And meat tastes so good! Who wants to live forever anyway?

Okay, so you can't stand the idea of having the stuff in your body in the exact place where it is supposed to be until you naturally expell it (to the point where you are considering making yourself ill via a diet of juice) and yet you want to put the stuff in your mouth, swallow it and then store it in your stomach instead?

What is wrong with this picture?

Someone mentioned in a previous post about the likelihood of you having a pretty serious eating disorder. I'm starting to think that your bizarre obsessions make this theory quite likely. I suggest you get professional help.

Not sure Ashley, but most animals are vegetarian and are happy and healthy. I have been vegetarian for ten year now but not totally vegan and I have never felt better. I take Vit C,Z and garlic daily and never feel run down...

Not sure whether you are referring to Coprophagy (Never tried or researched)

Good luck.

A what? Never heard the word. A vegan diet is very limiting, but what the hell is a coprophagous vegan diet? Enlighten me please.

Ashley, I think you should try it and let us know how that works out but I'm going to have to call you poo breath.

Every time I read one of your questions, I think you have reached your highest level of stupidity, but I guess I was wrong again. But I don't think you can top this one.

Here we are with the poop thing --- This time it's about eating it. Typical V&V forum vegan crap (pardon the pun).
