Riverside County does have a Henry's. There's ones in Temecula, Hemet, and Corona at the very least.
Just about any farmer's market is going to be FULL of organic produce. It may not be certified because certification costs thousands of dollars, but just ask the vendors. I'm not sure where you are so I can't recommend one, but I go to the one in the Sears parking lot in Riverside on Fridays and the one at the Promenade in Temecula on Wednesdays. Go early for best selections. Use this link (click search and then type in the city you want) to find a farmer's market near you:

Farmers markets are by far the best way to get fresh, pesticide free produce plus you help support small farms.
If you can't make it to the market or inbetween visits try Ralph's grocery stores. The one near me has a pretty decent selection of organic foods (produce and tons of other organic stuff).
There is also a great health food store in Riverside called La Sierra Natural Foods on Pierce near la Sierra University. They are all vegetarian and have a great selection of organic foods, too. A far better selection of veggie foods than I've seen at places like Henry's. Their produce section isn't great, but the rest of the store makes up for it.
Email me if you need some more hot tips on veggie places or anything like that in or around Riverside and OC!

There should be a farmer's market in Santa Ana. There definitely are farmer's markets in Pasadena, Santa Monica, and Alhambra.
For stores - go to Whole Foods Market and Wild Oats Market. You can find them in the phone book or internet.

Oooh, someone mentioned Mother's Markets. I wish they'd open one near me. Lots of organic produce & grains, great variety in their cafe/deli.
Trader Joe's has lots of organic produce, very reasonably priced. Larger supermarkets often have *some* organic. If there's a Ralphs near you, check it out.

Don't live in SoCal, but you must have a Whole Foods somewhere not too far. Irvine?
Bring your wallet.
