I enjoy an occasional Dr. Pepper, but I really like root beer. I will often add a capful of vanilla so that it will taste like a root beer float, but without the added calories of ice cream.

I remember as a child that we would have ice cold root beer in the ice cooler, and we would sit on a sandbar by the creek and drink our "beer!"

Thanks for asking this question. It brought back some fond memories of a simpler time.

Dr. Pepper definitely. And I hate when you go out to eat and ask for it and they say "No. But we have Barg's root beer!"

Completely different.

I don't really care for either one. In a pinch, Dr. Pepper. I'd have to be dehydrated in a desert before I'd drink root beer. Eeew.
