I drank way too much last night. I've felt sick all day - but I'm pretty hungry. I don't want to eat though, because I don't want to throw up.

I agree. I once took a TABC class and we learned that the more sodas you drink while being "drunk" will inhance your drunked-ness, so by drinking ice cold water you body will re-act better and help you come off your hang over. Also greasy foods such as Tacos, Ham/Cheeseburgers, French Fries, basically the "great american comfort foods" will help tame the alcohol in your body until you are either ready to 'pass it' or vomit it out.
Of course, anything that you eat won't have a taste because your tastebuds are out of whack from all the alcohol you consumed last night.
Excercise is another good way to help your body cope with alcohol. Finding the energy, however, to get up and walk or run is harder than it looks.
Good luck!!

Have bacon, eggs and toast or steak and eggs at Denny's - solid warm proteins are a good way to feel better faster. If you can cook at home have fried eggs, toast and some cooked meat (if veggie fry some extra firm tofu strips) the hot proteins seem to work better than anything. Drink loads of water and juice and coffee too. Good Luck!

I was a bartender and wild drinker for 3 years and I have found that taking a "shot" of wheatgrass (i know another shot) and then following it up with as much B - vitamins that you can, ie. citrus, berries, apples, bananas - even potatos and fiber work as well - u should be cured in no time
