What was the stupidest / most expensive thing you bought while rather tipsy? I used to get collared by all the assistants in the beauty departments and because I'd had one or two I'd end up buying all these products I didn't even want but just couldn't say no to :( Maybe that's why my finances are in such a state now - ooops!

People think i'm strange but I just love them! The bacon is salty and juicy and is great with a sweet, high quality jam. I far prefer it to cranberry sauce.

People are starting to think i'm strange with the weird sandwich concoctions I eat.

do you guys feel its fair to feed a dog on a vegetarian or vegan diet????
I am a vegetarian myself(but eat fish- am I a pesci-veggie or pesky-veggie, pls correct me!)
I dont think its right to feed my dog on a wholly vegetarian diet and most people on the dog section agree but I wonder what you would think on the vegetarian/vegan section.

I dont feel its right to impose our beliefs on our animals/pets who have no choice but to eat what we offer.

I was given a load of tree fallen apples which I peeled, chopped and placed in the freezer to use for cooking at a later date. The apples have gone a bit brown like they do when they have been peeled and left for a while. Do you think they will still be ok to use??

What do you call a person who chooses not to eat meat?

I have a friend who does not eat meat – no chicken, no hamburgers, no fish, no seafood, no lamb chops, etc. She does this for ethical reasons – “animals are our friends not food.”

At a restaurant instead of buying a hamburger she will buy a veggie burger and fries. However, she does not inquire of the wait staff the composition of the cooking oil for the fries. It might be pure vegetable oil or it might be animal shorting – she does not ask, nor would will she inquire if a chicken nugget has been cooked in the same oil.

When shopping she will purchase the vegetarian baked beans instead of those with pork in them. At a family bbq she will insist on a veggie burger or tofu dog, but makes no inquiry into the possibility of pork being in the baked beans.

Living in Oz I struggled to find shortening, as we dont call it this here. I have found some, and am mid way through the recipe, however because the shortening is so hard its not mixing through very well. What can I do to save this?

My bread looks great from the outside but inside is like cake. how can I get airly soft bread inside? is this anything to do with ingredience? or the baking time??
I use 250g floor 7g dried yeast with 150cc of milk or warm water, a teaspoon of suger, salt and oil. bake 25min in 220 degrees oven with steam (keep water at the lower tray)
Please let me know if anything I particularly need to do for airly bread.

Coke, Pepsi, Solo, Fanta, Sprite, Creaming Soda (Pink lemonade)... etc.. and WHY ..?!

My fave is Solo but i also like creaming soda !! I just love the taste, i guess =]

Hey guys,
I recently bought a mini fridge for my dorm, and I bought skim milk from Stop and Shop, just to drink some as I snack... but I just got a cup of skim milk and I noticed that the top layer of the milk got kinda chunky... like there were no odors coming from the milk, and the milk chunks kinda dissolved as it hit the roof of my mouth and came under some kind of pressure... there's so real difference in taste either, what's going on?
