Do you just ignore it or let them know if you're coming round to dinner etc that you'd prefer if they served something else that you both/all agree on?

I'm an Omnivore who isn't a huge fan of Red Meat incase you're wondering.

So my fiance and I received a 12 piece Henckle's Knife Block as a wedding gift. My fiance accidentally laid an old pizza plan on top of one of the knives in the sink and now it has rust stains all down the side. A silimar thing happened to another knife, just from sitting in the sink a few hours.

We have only have these knives for a week and already 2 have rust stains. Does anyone know how to remove those and aviod them in the future?

I was wondering because I am running into people who say they are vegan, but have leather shoes or a leather purse. My understanding is that a true vegan doesn't have any ties to any animal products at all, no by products in the house, don't wear anything, they truly lead an all natural lifestyle. I am finding that people just like to use the term as if it were a badge of honor.
I am in no way knocking people who are vegans, I was just wondering if standards have been relaxed, because everyone feels like they need a cause to fight for, but don't really fight for it.

we are having a party today and I had bought some carrots to put on a kabob stick along with other stuff but after cutting up the carrots, I'm wondering how I am going to get those stiff carrots on the stick. Do I just slide them on or is there something special I can do to make it easier?

I had put my beef roast in cold water in the kitchen sink to thaw out late last night (around 11:00 pm). It was frozen, and I meant to take it out and put it in the crock pot before I went to bed. I woke up this morning at around 7:00 and realized I had forgotten it in the sink. It was still very cool, so I am wondering if it is ok to eat. Thanks for your advice!
