Is it really the best or is it just hype and the name that make it seem the best?
Which culinary school is TRULY the best in the USA?

it all depends on who you talk to as to what school's the best. CIA is a very good school, but so is the French Culinary Institute and Le Cordon Bleu. If I was given a choice with full tuition paid, I would go to the French Culinary Institute. I like the idea of getting some classic culinary training.

I worked at the CIA in St. Helena once. Excellent training, but extremely snobby. Which I assume all culinary schools are. Another excellent one I'd recommend is Johnson & Wales.

(P.S. I think the CIA here in California focuses too much on fundraisers, balls, and renting out the grounds and doesn't focus as much on the food during the events.)
