This is a really great recipe, I hope you like it
MINNESOTA WILD RICE SOUP
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
1 c. raw wild rice
1/2 tsp. black pepper
4 ribs celery, sliced
2 lg. onions, sliced
1 c. water
3 drops Tabasco sauce
2 tsp. beef bouillon
3 (10 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup
2 soup cans water
In a large (at least 4 quart) heavy kettle, brown the beef with the salt and Italian seasoning, crumbling the meat as it cooks. Add the wild rice, 1 cup water, Tabasco sauce, bouillon granules, pepper, celery and onion. Simmer, covered, for about 30 minutes. Stir in the soup and cans of water. Cover and simmer another 30 minutes. Serves 8-10.

Chicken Wild Rice Soup
1/2 cup uncooked wild rice (6-8 oz box)
1-1 1/2 lb ground beef
14 1/2 ounces chicken broth
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cups half-and-half or milk
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/3 cup shredded carrots
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch dressing (not the dip)
1 chopped onion (optional)
Cook rice according to directions and brown the ground beef.
Put all ingredients into crockpot.
cook on high for 2-3 hours.
Enjoy.

DO YOU WANT IT WITH CHICKEN STOCK OR BEEF, SAUTE PIECES OF MEAT ADD ONION, GARLIC, MUSHROOM,AND CARROTS,ADD WATER AND RICE BRING TO A BOIL AND SIMMER,IN MEDUIM HEAT AT THE END ADD CHOPPED CILANTRO OR THYME NAMASTE
