after you rinse & dry it, wrap it in paper towels before putting it in a food storage bag.

Remove any wire or rubber band from the bunch, then wrap it loosely in a clean, dry paper towel. Put it in a clean plastic bag (a grocery store produce bag is fine) and store in the crisper drawer in the fridge.

Some leaves will start to go, but some of it will stay fresh for up to a few weeks.

This paper towel method works for lots of herbs. It's great for leafy lettuce too. The paper towel wicks wetness away from the leaves, but still keeps the environment moist enough to discourage wilting.

I've been doing this for years. Dampen a paper towel. (Not soaking.) Wrap the cilantro with the paper towel. Put in a plastic zip loc bag. Squeeze out the air, but don't crush the cilantro. Zip up the bag. Put in frig.

This will let my cilantro remain fresh for about 2 weeks.
