Sweet potatoes or yams.

Every Thanksgiving I leave a bag of marshmallows open on the counter the night before. For some reason stale ones seem to work better in my sweet potatos.

Hmmn, such a common thing - stale marshmallows lol

Are you for real? Just toast them over a fire. Just like stale bread makes good toast, stale marshmallows should be good toasted too. :))

They should still work fine for rice krispies treats. Or for hot chocolate. The marshmallows that are in the dry mixes are dried out, so they should be fine for that.

Use them to make rice 'krispy' squares or granola type bars with almonds, peanuts, etc. They work like glue, holding stuff together.
