I'm from Southern Indiana and have always lived here. Never been to anywhere near one of our coastlines. God I wish though. No money.
All veggies are not from California if that's what you are getting at.

Most ominivores are from the coasts too. Actually 90 % of the US population lives with in 5 miles of either the ocean or one of the 5 great lakes.

I would suspect that there are more meat eaters in the midwest, but more seafood eaters on the coasts. The % of real vegetarians is probably similar.

Nope. I was born and raised in the Midwest (mostly, I was a Navy brat early on and moved around a bit), and now live in Illinois.
