I'm from Southern Indiana and have always lived here. Never been to anywhere near one of our coastlines. God I wish though. No money.

All veggies are not from California if that's what you are getting at.

Most ominivores are from the coasts too. Actually 90 % of the US population lives with in 5 miles of either the ocean or one of the 5 great lakes.

Sorry, I'm a Los Angeles girl. Every other Vegetarian I know is either from Los Angeles or New York.

I would suspect that there are more meat eaters in the midwest, but more seafood eaters on the coasts. The % of real vegetarians is probably similar.

Im from Illinois,
and a very small town that has about 5 houses and a restruant!
I'm also a vegetarian!

Nope. I was born and raised in the Midwest (mostly, I was a Navy brat early on and moved around a bit), and now live in Illinois.

(and while there are fewer choices in the vegetarian/vegan food options at the stores and restaurants, I am determined to remain strong!) lol.

Texas (so coastal if by state/province), but a few hours away from the Gulf of Mexico.
