I have pasta and sauce ...what can I do ?

So Im not that great at cooking and my bf doesnt know how to cook either. I've already cooked him shake & Bake cajun chicken and he loved it. I just want to cook him something else then just going out all the time. Can someone give me some ideas and recipes? Please! Thanks!

So I bought a nice Salami from Salumi (probably absolutely best-cured meat spot in Seattle). It's sitting room temperature right now because it was sitting that way in the shop. However, should i store it in the fridge? How about after I slice it open?

I found an old recipe that I had made months ago. It doesn't say how long your supposed to leave your pork chops in the oven for. All it says is:

Coat chicken with mayonnaise
Dip into breadcrumbs
Set oven to 350 degrees
Cook till' lightly browned or crispy


Obviously I'll have to be checking till' their crispy and browned, but would anyone know approximately.. how long this will take? Anyone made a similiar dish? I make beer chops all the time and that takes an hour. I don't know if this would be an hour because I'm scared of the mayonnaise getting to watery. Can someone help me?

I have an idea for a yellow cake with white frosting topped with coconut. I was wondering can I bake coconut into the cake itself? Would it work like chocolate chips where you just add them in during the mixing process? Thanks for any and all suggestions.

We've got a large family - 5 kids, ages 10, 7, 5, 3 and 2. A couple are picky - i.e. one won't eat hamburger, another won't eat potatoes . . . but for the most part we're just looking for something that we could "throw" together.

We both work full time - I don't get home until 6:45 pm. Hubby gets home with all the kids 1st, works on homework, then dinner. Has to be 45-30 minutes or less with nothing fancy/funky.

We always keep: frozen chicken, hamburger, canned tuna, soups and veggies, pasta & rice (both standard & roni's), cheese, eggs, hot dogs & fish sticks, bisquick. Potatoes and onions are about the only fresh things we keep. . . . PLEASE HELP!

We are peanut butter lovers - but we do not keep any in the house because our son is highly allergic.

We are looking for alternatives - something that tastes like it could be peanut butter - but is not derived from nuts.

We have tried Soy Nut Butter - and thought it was gross!!!!
