My tolerance to alcohol is out of control. I am a 5'9" 135 lb female and the other night, I drank a half litre of vodka with VERY minimal side effects. I didn't even realize how much I had consumed because the shot glass I was using held more than one shot, which I wasn't thinking about, and I didn't feel drunk so I didn't think to stop. I realized that not only do I never get hangovers, but that it takes me an altogether silly amount of booze to feel the effects. Is this genetic? My family doesn't seem to be as resistant as I am. Is it diet-related? I wasn't like this in college!

I need some new cookbooks (no websites, please).

Which of your cookbooks have the most cooking stains on the pages, or do you use for reference. Why do you like your favorites?

I currently rely on my Dean Lucas Book of French Cooking and my Cooking Light Annuals.

Ethnic, vegetarian, Annual, it makes me no difference.

If not...you don't know what you're missing out on ! My mom made them for me when I was a kid and I still make them every now and then. You just melt the butter in the pan and throw the peanut butter and jelly sandwich in there and grill it exactly like you would a grilled cheese sandwich. The peanut butter oozes out and gets all hot and melted. Soooooo good with a big ol' glass of milk. Yummo !!

I love those greasy, fried tacos you get from taco stands and those 24-hour drive-up places (I know, not very healthy!) They are so simple and just have shredded beef, cheese, and lettuce. How do they get the shells so crispy? Are they fried after the meat is put inside? I have tried frying them this way, but the grease pops everywhere. I would also love a good recipe for homemade refried beans. Thanks much.

I need to know what a 50+ year old coca cola fountian drink dispenser is worth . it was made by Doll Valve Co.( # L-1076795S ) It has serval
patent noumbers on the name tag.
On the body of the dispenser is the wording
Designed for Coca Cola in Glasses next to the regural Coca Cola Logo. I found a repicla of it on ebay looked just like mine only it was a kids bank. Please I NEED YOUR HELP ON THIS

I have gone around watching videos of the diet pepsi and mentos thingy and im amazed. i would spend money just to do this in my backyard. but i was wondering what would happen if someone was to consume diet pepsi and mentos? I know that you might not be able to down a whole 2liter and a pack a mentos but what if your just drinking some diet pepsi, swallow a mentos, how would the two react? would it be a very minor explosion or could it do some harm?
