grandkids, anybody else been doing the same? what did you put on yours?

I made pancakes for my wife and kids..she made the mixture I tossed em ! Filled them with lemon and sugar , Nutella chocolate spread...Heaven ! Yum !

Our church has a pancake supper tonight.I would take the grandkids if they were here. They got snowed in in NY. I like real maple syrup that we made in NY. The store bought syrups do not come near the flavor.

I forgot it was pancake tuesday, so we had fish and salad for tea! But if I had had pancakes, I would have had warm creme fraiche mixed with melted roquefort cheese poured over hot apples. Deeeeeeeelish!!!!

I liked putting lemon and sugar on my pancakes.
I dont really like pancakes anymore though, to me breakfast should be savoury.

I have layered mine with applesauce and cinnamon before. When I make them for my grandson, I put green food coloring in them and cook them in turtle shapes. Just make a larger circle of dough and smaller ones for the legs. Add a head and for the tail a tiny dob and kind of string it out a bit to make it pointed.
Initials work great and so do hearts for Valentines or just "I love you". He loves it. And his aunt and his dad did too when they were small.

i just made pancakes for my kids the other morning but it was the add water and shake kind...i have three kids and its quicker on the school days...my daughter likes to put powdered sugar on hers, syrup and butter for the boys though...

ITS INTERNATIONAL PANCAKE DAY!!! No, i did not make any, but i did go to ihop and got some free ones (thats only until 10 tonight!) i like fresh berries and cream on mine.
