It,s been one week that I began to use the Brita pitcher, and I notice a lot of black particles on the upper level of the pitcher. They look like dried black tea, having the size of Nescafe powder particles. They float at the upper compartment of the pitcher.
What could they be?

After driving home from work just now I had to folow a lorry for half an hour, the company made me think, ho2 do you pronounce it?
It was a Ginsters vehicle.
Is it pronounced as Ginsters or Jinsters? It's always bugged me when I see any of their products on the shelves

I'm looking for a recipe for "Arab Coleslaw" that Graham Kerr (the Galloping Gourmet) used to have. I lost the recipe book (from his series). Recipe features cabbage, lemon, garlic, salt - I know the garlic and salt are mashed and then lemon juice is stirred in, then tossed with the cabbage - but the proportions are totally lost, and haven't been able to reproduce through guessing.

Anyone know this or similar recipe?

What are the risks and benefits of being a vegetarian who eats milk, eggs, and fish? Which nutrients are removed from this diet (without vitamin supplements) and what other health risks are involved? Does it increase health? How?

I'm not saying that those who eat fish are vegetarians. I'm well aware that they aren't vegetarians. I only used that as an explanation for those who don't know what a pescatarian is.

I also know what a lacto-ovo pescatarian is, so please don't define that for me.

Mine? A bacon, thin-sliced deli-style ham, thin-sliced deli-style turkey, havartia cheese, alfalfa sprouts, semi-spicy mustard, on toasted monteray cheese sub-bread. Now I'm hungry. To Subway I go! Lol!

Can anyone please tell me how to cook glutinous rice (Korean style) on the stove? I need a step by step break down, please. How much do I wash it, does it need to soak (if so, how long?), how much water to rice? I do NOT have a rice cooker, so I need to know how to cook it on the stove. I just want plain glutinous rice, nothing special. If possible, can you tell me how much cooked rice it makes? thanks!

Especially if you lived in a small town, and the only cupcake you can get is from your local grocery store. We do have "Coldstone" for sweets but thats about it.....
