Food & Drink - 28 January 2007

I left it out to thaw overnight. I was going to cook it the night before but didnt so I woke up this morning and I had forgot to put it back in. Is it bad or can I still cook it. I put it out at 6-7pm and woke up at like 11am and it was completley room temperature. I put it back in the fridge so I can cook it tonight but now im scared to.

Two times I tried and both times they did it! I followed the instructions to a T.
The first one was made in a 13 x 9 aluminum baking pan and the other in two 5 x 9 loaf pans. They seem to be completly cooked, can I eat them anyway?

We Americans have so much junk food, and fast food restaurants, and huge, greasy portions at most other restaurants it disgusts me! Our grocery stores are filled with crap that we shouldn't eat or feed our loved ones, and yet we do it anyhow. Anyways, I was wondering if this is as much a probelm in Europe.

I can taste the plastic over the juice like after they blew the bottle up and put the juice in it was still hot and the flavor is still present.

I just bought a bag of hersheys kisses filled with peanut butter. It had a new recipe for peanut butter cookies that you also bake w/ the kisses in the middle. Is there any way to be sure if the yeast is alive or dead? The only thing that I can think of that I might of done is to add the yeast into warm water about 1.5 hours before I added it to the wort. Can I warm up some more yeast and try again?
