really important to marinate - Lemon juice, Garlic and salt is simple and tasty the night before is best but two hours at least. A good thing about marinating is it preserves the chicken so you can marinate all your chicken at the start of the week and forget about it. Also when marinating you generally use bigger portions then you would think. Fry the chicken in a pan and after you flip it and are few minutes away from being done throw some store bought salsa in the pan with it. let the salsa dry out a bit and cook onto the chicken. MMMM tasty

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMn1L

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

how about this.....at your local supermarket buy lamb chops.
put some (very little) salt pepper garlic and rosemary (if you don't have rosemary, buy Emerils Italian essence and put a little of that on).
in a frying pan with olive oil, cook on each side about 6 minutes.
thats it for the meat.
for the side, go simple. buy rice in a bag and boil. thats it. directions are on the box. you can add butter to give some flavor after it is finished.
then for a veggie, take yellow squash. cut into about 1/8 inch slices. put on a cookie sheet. sprinkle olive oil, salt pepper and garlic. place in oven under broil for 3 minutes and your done. they whole thing will take about 20 minutes and is very easy.

one other thing...if you go to Krafts website, they have some really easy recipes.

shrimp mozambique.

get a pound of shrimp, frozen and uncooked. in a frying pan melt most of a stick of butter (3/4 stick more or less). Add chopped garlic to the butter, about two spoonfuls worth. then pour in about half a can of beer (to make enough sauce to cook the shrimp). add quite a bit of hot sauce (as if you were seasoning the shrimp that you are about to eat. also add [this is the hard part] one individual packet of Goya "Sazón with Azafrán". It is an easy to find spice packet used for making yellow rice. add about a spoonful of paprika. also add a splash of lemon juice and a bit of black pepper. cook the shrimp in this sauce for a few minutes (shrimp cook fast) under medium heat. flipping them soon after you put them in the pan. during the cooking process add chopped parsely.

once they are cooked (after about five minutes) let them sit for as long as you can (up to two hours) before reheating and putting over rice.

i like this recipe because it is easy and the measurements turn out not to matter much, but also because you don't need very many ingredients. beside the goya seasoning, everything is pretty typical. plus, of course, the final product is delicious!

Okay...do fondue. It's VERY romantic. Invest in 2 fondue pots...one for dinner and one for dessert. For dinner...use a bouillon and add some wine into the fondue pot (this is lower fat...women like that). Cut up beef tenderloin, chicken breast, shell raw shrimp, or whatever favorites you have. Make a small crudites platter with asparagus, potatoes, portabellos, carrots, etc. Each person cooks their favorites one at a time in the fondue pot. Have sauces (such as horseradish, barbecue, cocktail, wasabi, dressings etc) to dunk the little bits into and then pop into your mouths.

For dessert...use the other fondue pot and melt milk chocolate chips and condensed milk. Thin with a favorite liquor, such as amaretto. To dunk in the fondue, have strawberries, banana chunks, pound cake, marshmallows...whatever you like.

If you need more detailed information try here: http://www.fantes.com/fondue_instructions.htm It's pretty much everything you can possibly need to know about fondue.

If you are still worried, try what my sister does. She orders a gourmet meal from here http://www.artikochef.com/prepared-meals-gourmet.htm
They send it all ready to be reheated.

try using semi-homemade with sandra lee. she's a great cook on the foodnetwork. she combines ingredients that are found in your pantry and some that are fresh. they're easy recipes to cook because most of the items may be ready to cook and add just a few more fresh ingredients and makes it seem like you've been slaving in the kitchen for hours. i stand by her recipes because they're great and easy! if you watch her shows she makes a whole meal and it includes desert and cocktails and shows you her "table escapes" themed table decorations.
