I left it out to thaw overnight. I was going to cook it the night before but didnt so I woke up this morning and I had forgot to put it back in. Is it bad or can I still cook it. I put it out at 6-7pm and woke up at like 11am and it was completley room temperature. I put it back in the fridge so I can cook it tonight but now im scared to.

DON'T EAT IT!!!!!!
It only takes 20 minutes at room temperature for bacteria to grow!

throw it out. If it was at room temperature it wouldn't be any good. Meat needs to be stored at 5degrees celcius or less to prevent it from growing bacteria. Also thawing it on the bench is not a good idea. The areas that thaw out first, are left sitting at room temperature. You should take it out the freezer the night before you want to use it, and leave it in your fridge to thaw.

I wouldn't take a chance on it, better safe than sorry. I usually thaw chicken out in the fridge. It takes a day or two, but it's safer.

Never take a chance with any meats...that are not cold cold cold..bacteria will start working on the surface of the meat like your chicken and you will get food poisoning..it's not worth it.
Always thaw your meat in the refrigerator so you don't run the risk of this happening again or defrost quickly in the microwave...check your microwave instructions for how long to defrost it.
You were smart to not eat it!

Chicken has more dangerous bacteria than any other meat. Don't eat it, trash it.

It is better to spend a few buck now that hundreds later getting out of serious infection.

Give it a smell. If it is bad, believe me, it will stink. I bet it is bad unless it thawed really slowly.
