Two times I tried and both times they did it! I followed the instructions to a T.
The first one was made in a 13 x 9 aluminum baking pan and the other in two 5 x 9 loaf pans. They seem to be completly cooked, can I eat them anyway?

Yes you can eat it....i do think its possible its a bit undercooked though...possibly your oven isnt as accurate as it used to be....i think if you try this again....make sure the rack is in the center of the oven ...not too low...and cook an extra 5 minutes or so....see if that works...

cute ms O...a fallen angel :) im wondering if u opened the oven b4 it was time to. it seems to me that type of cake will fall if that is done. as far as eating it goes, i sure would eat it. yum! i recently read a very easy recipe for something to top an angel food cake with. in cool whip, you add a box of jello instant pudding and pie filling ...vanilla but i used cheesecake flavor and a can of crushed pinapple. omg its soooo good on angel food cake. best to you!

You have a fallen angel!

Sure you can still eat it.
Have you tried use a bundt cake pan instead?
You might be over mixing the mix.

usually they sink when they are in the process of rising and something loud vibrates the house/stove. slamming the oven door will do it, jumping up & down in the kitchen (children are helpful w. this one)
