Sweetie,i dont think that you can "soften" it without it becoming mushy,or gooey.Ultimately,it wont taste "Fresh" and may be a little tough-ish.However,you can use it for other items. You can cut it into chunks, arrange those on a cookie sheet.Drizzle them with extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, and any other seasons you wish.Place them in the oven and bake until golden. Then you have homemade croutons! You could also, make a bread pudding, they have the recipe online for that.I will include a link below in the sources for bread pudding. Also, you can simply slice it and use it for toast.Your going to be drying it out anyway.Dont let it go to waste, and reuse it!Good luck hun and have a good day.

Two ways, send it in the micro wave with a container of water next to it on high for 20-30 seconds.
The second way is to roll a wet paper towell and use a brush to dab it with water for about 10 minutes or until soft. Then unwrap and soak in a bowl of room temperature water for about 15 minutes. Then set it in the oven for 15-20 minutes.

Just run under water until soaked and put in a hot oven for 10-15 minutes - lovely and crispy outside and softened and refreshed inside.

that's as quickly as we get to the top of ourselves and 'enable God' - he will are available and soften a hardened heart. I had a hardened heart for a era of 5 years - it grew to become into the main depressing 5 years of my existence. The Scriptures I had learnt as a baby, the Holy Spirit used. i attempted to suppress them on the commencing up, yet slowly and rather, my heart began to soften, and did until eventually I enable Him lower back in.

Not if you want to eat it like a normal baguette!
Just slice it up and make brusschetta, cube it and make croutons, panzanella (Itlaian bread salad), or even buzz in the food processor to make bread crumbs.

I always wet my hand under the tap and rub it all over so the surface is wet, and pop into an oven for about 3/4 mins.
Usually works and makes its crunchy on the top

Try heating it up in the microwave for 30 seconds and see if it softens enough for you.

You can try a few seconds in the microwave, but it's not as good as when you buy it fresh. It's a little tough when it comes out. It's so cheap, just run to the store & buy more!
