I doubt that it's actually good for you, but I love it and have been drinking it for a long time (at least two years) and have had no ill effects from it. Of course, water is the recommended drink; however, I do not care for the taste of the water from my taps, and, if I am going to pay for something to drink, I'd rather spend the money on something that satisfies me, plus, there are no calories in Sprite Zero and no sugar (obviously), and I really like the carbonation. However, I have heard admonitions regarding Splenda (the artificial sweetener) and also carbonated water, so I would not go so far as to recommend Sprite Zero...

It is still basically a soft drink, and no soft drink is good for you.
It still depreciates the hydration in your body. Drinking water, tea, or koolaid is mainly water with some sugar.

I used to drink only soda, and maybe a cup of tea here and there...I got severly dehydrated and sick two times and the 2nd time I was put in the hospital overnight with IV fluids and a liquid only diet.
After that, I felt soooo much better, except going to the bathroom twice a hour.

Since then I have been drinking some water (I hate the taste though) and lots of tea, sometimes unsweetened. The results? I have been less sick than before.

I HIGHLY doubt that. It has the basics of soda. It still contains fructose and all that unhealthy junk. However it does not have any calories which is a plus
