In some recipes you find cinnamon as one of the ingredients, but others say its helps in loss of body weight, isn't it bad to use it frequently in food preparations?

How do u eat yours????

2007-01-26 01:44:26 · 18 answers · asked by Wayne J 1 in Cooking & Recipes

There's a debate that started in the office this afternoon as we were all eating ou r Mcflurrys.

Ya know the stupid white lid thing that comes with it and has the tiny hole with spoon popping out?
Well I take it off so I can get a big scoop of ice cream, but the girls here seem to say I'm SUPPOSED to leave the lid on and struggle to get any ice cream out at all let alone make u look like a bloody thick idiot as u try and scoop around the sides holding the spoon like pencil! DUH!

I thought the lid was just there for transporting the mcflurry until u ready to eat it, or that they use the lid when they are making it??

Please can I have ur answers whether (and why) you think the lid should come off / stay on!!??

Best answer chosen as always:p

Before I served it last night, the cheese separated out from the cream and butter and didn't cover the noodles well at all.

hi there, has anyone make colored sugar?
I thought of using our favorite cherry flavored jello mix, add it to sugar in baggie, shake, see, but thought maybe it could clump up...
I am open for suggestions, thanks and happy valentine's day

I just bought a microwave and trying to figure out where to keep it. I thought about keeping it on the fridge, but then someone told me that it is not safe. I dont think there should be any problem. What do you guys say?

Hi, for dinner tonight I'm making lamb and mashed potatoes, and the vegetable side is giving me trouble. I always buy frozen veggies, and then boil them, and season them, but tonight I need something that can live up to a nicely seasoned lamb, and my usual recipes just aren't going to cut it. Any Ideas??

I have morphed from a meat eater to a vegitarian over the last 2 months. I feel better, have more energy and would like to continue this. However, I am sick of all the foods I have learned to prepare. I'd like to cook with tofu but I don't like it plain. I try to avoid white rice, white flour, and anything loaded with bad carbs.

When making a sandwich filling with either tuna or mashed up hard-boiled eggs, do you prefer mayo or salad cream to bind it? I much prefer the taste of eggs with salad cream, mayo makes me feel queasy!

ago in an un-known cook book there was a GREAT recipe for making pie crust using Wesson, Canola, or any other cooking oil rather than the standard shortning or butter. It turned out wonderful. I have never been able to find this recipe again. This was an older cookbook, hard-cover, red on the outside (which doesn't mean anything as they are always changing), but I am thinking, Betty Crocker, Better Homes & Gardens, The Joy of Cooking, but I really do not know. Does ANYBODY have this recipe, and would you please share? Thanks so much.
