When I've made fruit smoothies in the past with my smoothie maker, I can always feel & taste the pips from the strawberrys in the drink.

Is there anyway i can make my drink a little more smoother? ie remove the pips?

I've recently discovered how many foods contain gelatin, and are therefore not vegetarian. Does saltwater taffy have gelatin or is it something else that makes it chewy? I don't have the bag or I'd just read the label. Thanks!

I know people that don't refrigerate their butter. Sure it makes it easier to use when it's soft, but shouldn't it be kept cold? I mean it IS a dairy product!

Can I use a 5 Gal Bucket from the local hardware store to ferment my beer or to add the suger to prime it before bottleing. Must I buy a pale from a homebrew store that is food grade. What does good grade really mean anyway. Also would you leave your favorite suppy website.

Hi
I'm a college student & I also work. I find that I eat alot of junk food & fast food because it's cheap & easy. I'd like to start eating better but I don't have time to make a gourmet meal. Any suggestions for a good cookbook that has quick, healthy, good food in it? Thanks!

I've been trying these recipes online and then i always get these plain, yucky flans! They taste like plastic and aren't sweet. Any suggestions, because i'm dying for some good flan. I'm not looking for fat-free, i'm looking for "OMG, this is the BEST FLAN EVER!" recipes. Quesillo is another name for it.

I'm a vegetarian and run an arable farm

Part of this land is given over to rescueing unwanted animals ( cows, sheep, chickens ) that meat farmers find unproductive and are heading for the knackers yard. think of me as a "retirement home"

We have to shear these pet sheep every year as part of thier animal husbandry.

I understand that a vegan will not touch wool from a production sheep - fully understand that.

But how would you feel if i made a jumper from the wool off these pet sheep.....they have to be sheared and i'm not keeping them for meat, they live a natural retired life here.

Vegan thoughts please ?
