I really hate the taste of the lowfat and nonfat mayo they sell in stores, but am so sick of eating sandwiches with mustard!! Any ideas?

I would like to help my parents (in their mid-late 60's) improve their health. My mom has high blood pressure and high cholesteral and has had mini-strokes. They run their own business and eat very few meals at home. The insulated lunch bag and the microwave are their greatest allies. Any suggestions on things I can prepare in advance and freeze that they can simply heat and eat? They are very midwest in their current eating habits- meat and potatoes, salt and pepper, etc. Thanks!

P.S. I am familiar with the ideas of fresh veggies and fruit, pre-cut and ready to eat. I know the basics of healthy eating but am looking for more ideas and suggestions.

I have an abundance of frozen pie crust, and a gallon freezer bag full of frozen sliced strawberries. I'm thinking of draining off the strawberries and stuffing some in a biscuit size cut out of pie crust, folding it over like a calzone. Then I'll crimp the edges, baste with butter, sprinkle with sugar and bake.

Does this sound like a good plan? I'm needing something good and quick with these few ingredients.

I'm going to be doing some simple baking (cobblers, dump cake, etc.) when out west skiing soon. My recipes do not indicate how to handle high altitude. Does it take food longer to bake or less time? Do you increase the oven temp or lower?

my ex wen 1st meet would drink every fri and sat nite get out his face, i treyd to help then he would b havin dirnks in alone at nite sumtimes or weekedns if he dint go out he gets real down if he not drinking we use to watch dvds tk his mind of it but latley he back to him self goin out every weekend getin real drunk he dose these wen we split or argue and say it my fault
