Get your elbow noodles all cooked and put them in a big casserole dish, now cut the velveeta in 1/2 in slices, then cut it so that you have 4 cubes from each slice, (repeat 8 X's) now place 10 cubes all over the top and then push down with spoon until they disappear under the noodles ( repeat until all cubes are in) Now add 1/2 cup of milk and stir gently, now cut 6 1/4 inch slices of velveeta and put on top. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes, keep a close watch so that it doesn't boil over. ( 15 mins. on high in microwave , check it every 5 minutes.) ENJOY!

My recipe is pretty basic.
Cube the Velveeta, dust lightly with flour
melt a few table spoons of butter into a large pot
add some diced onion, and saute till just translucent
add a dash of hot sauce
Yellow mustard (optional - If I've got ground, I'll use that, otherwise basic yellow works well too.)
add about 1C of milk
Slowly start adding the cheese. Let the milk warm and melt the cheese. You may need to add more milk - depending on how thick you want your cheese sauce.
Pour this mix over par cooked pasta, and bake in the oven till nice and bubbly.

I make it on the stovetop. Cut the velveeta into cubes and melt with the cooked noodles. Add some milk, too. Then I pour it all into a baking dish, top with bread crumbs and bake at 350 for about 15-20 minutes.

The quickest way to melt the Velveeta is in the good old microwave. If you don't have one, use a double boiler pan and put the cheese on top, or melt it on a very low flame in a regular pot.
