I use one can of cream of chicken and one can of nacho cheese soup ( both undiluted) with the browned hamburger.
(Add some minced onion while you are browning the hamburger).
I then layer: hamb mix, sliced cheese, tots, hamb mix, tots and sliced cheese again. Mmmmmmm
Bake approx 30 min at 350 degrees.

I make mine with cream of celery. Combine the soup in a cassarole dish with about 1/2 a can of water, a can of drained green beans, and a pound of cooked and drained hamburger. Top with a layer of tater tots, sprinkle a little seasoned salt on top, and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Cream of "anything" will work. If not use cream cheese or sour cream. Those are two good alternatives.
