I think it depends on how much space... if I had a store that people came to for the purpose of buying wine and liquor, I think I might try to sell supplies for people who would like to "make their own"... there are so many advantages to this. most people who try it just want to experiment... not to create a lifestyle (though some do), the margins should be great and people who are interested in that will still buy wine and liquor already prepared.
My favorite place to purchase my supplies right now (because I can't buy them close to my home) is http://www.thegrape.net

Ice wines. They are very popular for after dinner aperitifs, and sell really well. Pretty well all the domestic brands from U.S. and Canada are of high quality.

Kinda hard to comment when we don't know what you have already? Flavored vodka is the hot thing right now, I'd be sure you've got every possible option, like grapefruit.

i just tried Van Gogh Vodka the other day... it really captures the flavor and essence of espresso. if you don't carry that, you should.
or maybe you can create some gift basket type things with your best selling items, a basket, and a nice cellophane wrapping. =)

Those wine "juice" boxes are fun... great sellers during festivals too. Make a killing with them now while they are still unique.
