I'm new to the world of coffee/espresso/cappuccino, and I know very little. I actually hate regular coffee but I love some espressos and cappuccinos. I got a maker that can be used with pods or from scratch. Can anyone give me a crash course in using this machine? Any recommendations for pod brands? Finally, my favorite espresso is the White Chocolate Mocha, how do I make this & is this available in pods?

Thanks

I used mine yesterday to roast a chicken, and it did a fantastic job. I used salt and pepper, poultry seasoning, and basil.

I bought some oranges from a grocery store last year that had a real loose skin on them. I think it was a japanese variety, but I can't remember. It peeled really easy due to the loose skin, and it was seedless. Does anyone know the name of this orange?

I just bought some angel foods cake. What are some yummy recipes using it? I have already thought of berries with whipped cream. I pretty much have a stocked kitchen. I want something different than just adding something from a jar or can.

I love Chicken flavored ramen noodles that come in the package, but they are very unhealthy because of the sodium and the stuff that keeps it freeze dried. Does anyone know a homemade recipe for Chicken Flavored Ramen Noodles? Better yet, does anyone have a healthy version?

I heard that Budweiser donates money to anti-marijuana laws and so do some other American beer companies. Is this a fact? If so, it seems kinda hypocritical to me considering alcohol causes more death and destruction than weed. I knew there was a reason I only drink Heineken!

Several months ago, I started thinking that Coca Cola tasted different. It is more of a bitter taste. When Coke Zero first came out I hated it because it was bitter, and this reminds me of it. But this is supposedly 'Coke Classic'.

Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me.

Maybe it's the diet of BK, McD's, Cheez Whiz, Miracle Whip, meat from poorly treated animals, Wonderbread, etc. that has made people think the way they do.

I don't like fish, crab, lobster, oysters, shrimp, calimari . . . Never have, from child to now ( I'm 50 ). The taste puts hairs up on the back of my neck. I've had it fresh from the water, prepared in fine restaurants, at a persons home . . . Anyone else out there not like fish ?

And, if you do like it and choose to answer here . . . fine...you can have mine.

I was wondering if you put ribs in the broiler first to brown it then put it in the oven or in the oven first then in the broiler to brown it,
when its in the oven do you cover it?
which step cooks the meat well and still leaves it tender
