Food & Drink - 1 January 2007

I usually make mine dry and shaken with Greygoose vodka(and an olive stuffed with bleau cheese crumbles) but I'm having a party soon and some of the people invited prefer Gin. Help! I have never made one with gin before.

i am home alone, and i need to drink. I have kahlua, does this go bad? i can't find an experation date. And i also have Bacardi rum but no coke, how bad is it to drink straight? I also have Triple Sec orange flavor. And i have Jagermeister, but no red bull. What can i do with this? Anything?
I just finished the 1/4th of a bottle of champagne from last night, but it didn't do a whole lot. Please help.

i'm making a cake right now and usually i use to round pans- but decided to try out this one where it puts the whole in middle- i guess called the bundt cake pan.

welll i for the two round pans it takes 35 mins.

i checked it at 30 and it not even close to being done- is it just b/c of the pan mold i have it in. or did i do something horribly wrong? did i need to change the recipe or something??

i followed the directions to the T.

oh and by the way its the perfectly chocolate cake recipe that comes on the back of hershey's cocoa- my friends mom made ooh soo good- too late to call her though!!

I'm creating a vegetarian restaurant. I need help in naming it. Any suggestions? Its a project so it wont actually be a real company. But I desperatly need help in naming it. I'm having a lot of trouble with the naming stage.

From the research that I have done so far; I want my restaurant to have a clean, friendly, warm and contemporary interior. The audience will be adventurous, health conscious and willing to try new things. The food served will be fresh, delicious and healthy. And the food of course will be all vegetarian (vegan may be something I'm thinking about as well...but for now it will only be a vegetarian restaurant)

My great aunt made rolls that were so good. I know she did not use eggs. Hers were fluffy but kind of dense. I have tried to make some. Mine look and taste ok, but as soon as you touch them after they are baked they go flat. What am I doing wrong?

Sorry for sounding dumb, but I don't usually make fried food and I was wondering -- if I wanted to fry something in a pot or pan (I don't have a deep fryer) I can just use regular vegetable oil? The reason I ask is because I've tried it once on a steak and it just tasted really bad. Maybe it was just me. I used regular Crisco vegetable oil, should I have used something else? I just got an espresso machine and i dont know what to put in it. Are there special espresso beans to use with it or are you supposed to use coffee beans? I've been using foldgers and it doesnt taste stong enough.
