Go to a Sam's club or Costco, and buy it by the case.

Hmm... honestly, I have no clue where to get a big package of gelatin... however, if you go to the supermarket like Stater Bros., Ralphs, Albertsons, Food 4 Less, etc. then I'm sure there'll be a shelf of boxed gelatin to make. It's not that hard eitheir. You might need like 20 little boxes of powdered Jell-O to fill your kiddie pool. And... they don't cost much eitheir... less than a dollar! K, well hope I helped you! K, have fun being you! Buh bye!

Costco is a great place to buy jell-o packs in bulk, you'll need about 180 packs of jello but unless you have COLD ice water and ice cold air. It wont set. SO i would recommend buying jello premade at a local deli. Call your local deli-grocery store and tell them what you need and I am sure they can help you.

Now to figureout how many jell-o packets you will need here is the formula

One 3 ounce package of JELL-O makes 2 cups of JELL-O. ("Add 1 cup boiling water to gelatin...add 1 cup cold water...makes 4 servings, 1/2 cup each.")

The (gelatin mass)/(water volume) ratio can be derived from the 3 ounces to 2 cups ratio. This is equivalent to (3 oz / 2 cup) X (1 lb / 16 oz) X (16 cup / 1 gal) = 1.5 lbs / gal.

So you need 1.5 pounds of JELL-O for every gallon of water to make gelatin.

Now if you arent good at math let me explain, its going to cost you about $800 to fill a kiddie pool with jello. Goodluck!

I'm not sure where you are from but in the US a bulk supply store would have it one like GFS or Sam's would have the amount of jello that you need.

You can try B.J.'S or Cosco's or Big Lots they sell things in bulk you don't have to get the real Jello as you are'nt going to eat it so any generic brand will do .maybe if you are going to buy a lot you get it at a resturant supply place

Silly people will waste all kinds of good things
just to have fun. Many food centers that feed
the poor could use all that jello.

A restaurant supply store should be able to get you large amounts of gelatin.

Possible Costco because Costco sells merchandise in a fairly large quantity.

Some restaurants (not chains) are willing to order things for their customers from their suppliers, and most suppliers usually only sell in bulk. Check with local eateries to see if they'd be able to order you a case for just above cost.
