Yes... sucks to skip out on the food you love, but here is my advice for losing weight and keeping it off!

Losing weight is just the process to get you back to a healthy u! The way your suppose to be, whether it be 10 or 30 pounds your body will let you know if you switch to a new natural, healthy "life style" I want to stress, life stlyle. Not a diet. If you wanted you could call it your healthy diet plan, but in the sense that this is how your suppose to eat all the time.

Okay so the way: Just like wild animals have certain foods they should/shouldn't have, humans are the same way. Did our late ancestors eat Oreos? Pretzels? Processed stove top? No they ate raw, whole foods, such as real meats, real dairy, real vegetables, real whole grains.

Its time for a switch if you can eat how a human body should be fed 90% of the time, then the 10% can be up to you. Like a weekend social event.--- Don't worry about it, enjoy! But 10%! More than that and you will be consuming to many of those foods that are no no to our bodies.

Here is what I love to Eat and keeps me healthy and functional:

Cottage cheese
Men's Bread (high fiber/ low is carbs/ fat)
Think Thin protein Bar (No sugar)
Chicken
Meat
Turkey
Mozzerella cheese
Feta Cheese
Goat cheese
Natural Peanut Butter 1 tbs. per day or less
Nat. Almond Butter 1 tbs. per day or less
Olive Oil
Mushrooms
Dark Chocolate
Broccoli
Spaghetti squash
Cauliflower
Celery Root
Green Onions
Flax Seeds
Almonds (small amounts)
Berries
Eggs
Lettuce
Carrots
Tomatoes
Part of a pear, apple, orange
Water
Bell peppers
Butter

I keep my foods routine during the week, between scrambles, cottage cheese, salads, and protein dinners, I am quite satisfied during the week. I try to get at least 40 min. of moderate exercise in every day except for SAT. I switch off between weights/ cardio on different days.

Weekends are what i call my 10% days, meaning if i have been good for the majority of the week, I can relax and eat slightly more/ less healthful if i want. This is the point where you can enjoy those foods that are taboo, but please in moderation.

I firmly believe moderation is key to everything. You know everyone says Butter is so bad for you, but cultures have been using butter for centuries, a little bit is perfectly fine and healthy. We need SAT fat for our cells to survive (they are made up of Sat. fat)! So yea don't sit down and eat a whole stick, thats not good just like too much fiber is not good!

Its fun eating healthy, because you feel stronger and more confident. Find your triggers that make you want to grab for that ice cream and try to eliminate them or hold on to the ice cream and save it for the end of the week when you have lost those couple pounds! Savor your treat and jump back on the wagon! Its life we are allowed to indulge, just keep your body/helath in perspective and always be mindful of the fact there will be another day and another time!

Eat till you satisfied, not bloated, on healthy foods you will be thankful.

By eating smaller amounts of those good foods, and more green vegetables.

Have you looked into Weight Watchers? It works, and you don't have to cut out any foods, just keep track of them, and work them into your daily allowance.

Watch your portions, eat smaller portions. Balance the foods you eat. If you love ice cream, eat a small cup of ice cream but top it off with bananas. And also- excersize or just keep busy.

I would go on Weight Watchers. You can eat anything you want and you still loose weight. They say on average you loose 3 pounds per week.

Try eating smaller portions of the foods you love, eg one biscuit instead of two and gradually you will loose weight.
