"They are sold all over the world, however they are banned in the United States where the Food and Drug Administration has deemed the encapsulated toy to be a choking hazard."

Magic Kinder Eggs

You can find them on eBay. There are lots of sellers. The only alternative is travelling overseas and buy them there. I have bought Kinder Eggs in Hong Kong, Germany and last month, in Sydney Australia at the local Woolworths. Recently I found one place in Tokyo that sells the toys in the egg (with no chocolate which I don't like anyways) for under a $1 USD each! Even though I am already old, they are my secret joy!

Depending where you are in the United States, I KNOW that you can get them in a store called World Market. They also sell proper cadbury's chocolate (not that nasty Hershey's stuff), real crisps (not chips).

When my husband and I lived in the US, we found kinder eggs in theirs stores in Sterling, VA, Raleigh. NC and Chesapeake Bay, MD. I am also told (but can't verify) that they are sold on open air markets along the Florida Keys.

Alternatively, kiss up to a really nice relative/friend at home and get them to send some over to you.

Hope this helps.

I've never seen them in the U.S. I wish they did sell them though, because when I went to Italy, my sister and I loved them. Maybe you can order them online somehow :)
