I heard that Budweiser donates money to anti-marijuana laws and so do some other American beer companies. Is this a fact? If so, it seems kinda hypocritical to me considering alcohol causes more death and destruction than weed. I knew there was a reason I only drink Heineken!

Heineken is from Holland where Amersterdam is located which weed is tolerated. I highly doubt they are donating money to the US to support their anit-weed laws

I wouldn't call that corrupt. It wouldn't surprise me for any randomly selected large company if looked into could be called corrupt, but I wouldn't call this corrupt. I don't personally like that they are donating to anti-marijuana laws (well, donating to a law is impossible, but I know what you mean) but that doesn't mean they are corrupt for this. You should check your facts before saying something like this though on a public forum. I haven't personally heard this before now, but I am not the least bit surprised that they might be. I think it is more hypocritical of the government for making marijuana illegal and not alcohol. Alcohol is quite a bit deadlier than marijuana, there is no real and truthful argument against that. Given that marijuana isn't as harmful as alcohol, making marijuana illegal and alcohol legal (to some ages) makes no sense. Also given the history behind the anti-marijuana laws, they should be repealed anyway. I do not use marijuana, but I do recognize that it is not as harmful or addictive as alcohol.

The job of any CEO of any Corporation is to show a profit to the shareholders. If Budweiser and Heineken could show a profit by pulling the wings off of Monarch Butterflies there would be a Corporate Merger, then BudEikin would open an Ecological Insect Study Plant, and start yanking the wings off the butterflies. That is what any corporation does.
America is a Corporation, there is profit to be made from alcohol tax and war, we are in the business and business is good. This is not corruption, this is Bottom Line+

I think the Partnership for a Drug Free America is a political action committee for the liquor lobby.
