all mammals are edible, you may run the risk of a form of mad cow disease, which can be lessened by not eating the brain.

Humans have been known to taste like pork the most out of our more edible animals. I'd recommend a nice red wine to cook with.

And, if you've watched "Apocalypto" or studied the Aztecs - what do you think happened to all the rest of the scrificed body after the god/goddess got the heart and the head was 'mounted'?
No large meat animals in Central America/Mexico. Nobles, priests and warriors got the best bits, peasants got leftovers, animals in royal/noble zoos got the guts and fingers/toes, etc.
Properly cooked - just about anything animal or vegetable is 'edible' - but "desirable" is another matter!!

No doubt about it we are the worse, what animals grow other animals to kill and eat on a regular basis, like we do with cattle? Hogs? or sheep, chickens? They have horrible lives it is one thing to catch a bird and another to torture them all their life with hormones and little pens and those who lay eggs it is even worse. We do not take care of them, we torture them. Wild animals kill the old suffering and the slowest mover. It serves a purpose keeping the herd strong. We just kill them all. Cut down the trees, pollute the air and ruining their only place to live. And eventually we will destroy the planet. We are and always have been the worse thing for this planet. What great things? planes that pollute and crash? Cars that run down animals and keep going and they also polute the air. Atom bombs to blow up people? The best way the planet can be saved is if humans manage to kill each other and life after humans is allowed to heal the earth.

Yes, a couple of years ago there was a guy in Germany who actually put ads in news papers to find volunteers to be eaten after their death.
Also years ago there was a plane crash in the Himalayas and the survivors eventually rescued told they had eaten other passengers to stay alive. Later there was a movie made about this.

yes they are - technically they can be eaten raw too. that is what cannibals do. they eat other human beings.
there is also a story about how the early colonys had no food in the winter, so one man killed his wife and ate her. gross, but hey, a guys gotta eat right?
