I have been invited to a New Year's Eve party and have been asked to bring a snack type food(i.e. finger foods or some type of dip). Does anyone have any easy or good recipes? I do not like to cook and I love simple things so, anything that combines those two things would be great!

I got very drunk x-mas eve. I didn't eat much that day (last meal was at breakfast 10:30 am) between 5 of us we drank 6 bottles of something that is similar to vodka. I took more than 10 shots. (mind you I weigh about 127) I got so drunk that I passed out. The next morning I threw up ALL DAY. 3 days have now passed...is it normal to still feel a little queasy? I woke up yesterday and today still feeling a bit nauseas . Someone told me that i'll feel like this for the rest of the week....because i had drank so much..Is this true?....Has this happened to anyone?........Any advice?

I have put my birthday planning in the hands of my friends and, if my newly formed ulcer is any indication, I am scared that it'll be a disaster. Can anyone give me some ideas for a quick Asain themed party so, if they do forget, I can run to the store and fix everything.

I'll be going to England this year, and looking forward to it. I kind of have a silly question, but if you're a beer drinker you'll understand. Like many bars across the US, they have beer on tap,.....but I have heard that in England, the pints are served lukewarm. Is this true,.......or do they have cold beer on tap, and in bottles? Thanks for the help,.......

I've looked everywhere for them at my local grocery stores and they seem to have all quit selling them. I checked the La Choy site and they didn't even list them as a product. Anyone know if they are available anywhere or are they discontinued?

Do you think people have been socially conditioned to think meat is the only source of protein and that milk is necessary for strong bones?

Are there different degrees ?

When I cooked (once) for my sister-in-law, I couldn't use milk in my mashed potatoes. But butter was ok. Good gawd !! help me understand why butter is different from milk when it comes from the animal?

Also if I make gravy or a vegetable soup using chicken or beef boullion, isn't that still considered meaty since the boullion came from some part of the animal through processing but is not actually a chunk of it?

We have had numerous vegetarian exchange students as well and they seem to eat what ever I put in front of them as long as they don't see a chunk of meat. Are they less of a vegetarian than those who don't do milk? What about eggs... it is a protein that comes from an animal... how can any vegetarians eat breads and cakes and such with eggs in them?

I am just confused with all the different ways I see vegetarians. Seems to be double standards and I want YOU to give it to me straight!!!

Thanks : )
