Properly and securely stored, raw or uncooked shrimp will keep well in the fridge for, at most, two to three days. After that it is mushy and will smell and taste fishy.
Never freeze seafood that has been allowed to thaw, has been eaten raw and/or then has sat out all day or been put in the fridge for a day or two after thawing. Never refreeze it once it's been thawed.
If cooked, it may be frozen immediately afterwards and may keep well for a month but after that, when you thaw and cook it, it won't taste good--even if it is technically safe to eat. If cooked and then refrigerated, it may last a couple days, but again, after that it begins to wilt and taste mushy.
