I doubt that we will ever have a 'perfect' society. After all, perfection is objective. Like, "one man's treasure is another man's trash".
The idea of never eating any animals ever again might not be perfection to a person who likes meat.

By the time a perfect society is achieved (cough), there probably will be no animals to kill due to destruction of the animal's natural habitat.

With any luck we (the humans) will be forced into developing meat substitutes to sustain our appetites. Products are being depleted and there goes the supply. When that happens companies will step in with alternatives, after all they will still want our money so they will offer something to spend it on.

I highly doubt it not unless they create some kind of super meat substitute. Lets face it humans were not really meant to eat meat but its just 2 darn good to stop so i really wont complain. Besides think of all the people that would starve if we couldnt eat meat there is only so much farmland for us and animals.

First off, the way you wrote your question was really in the form of a comment, not a question.
Second, many animals were put on Earth for others to consume. It's called the "food chain." What other purpose does a cow serve?
People who are vegetarian to me are not really "healthy" either.
They usually tend to look very sickly to me.
Regardless of why you are vegetarian whether it be health or moral reasons, I believe the body needs meat to function at its best.

Because the animals will be killing and eating us. I saw Planet of the Apes. And if all we got to lead us is Mark Wahlberg, then we are completely f***ked.

In a perfect society, animals will kill themselves and land in a perfect portion on my plate.
