I have to fix something to take to my fiance's mom's family Christmas Dinner Friday evening. I was told to bring a finger-food and left up in the air after that. I have been on cooks.com and allrecipes.com trying to find something. But I would like to get recipes from people who have actually MADE the recipe, that way you can tell me if its really good or not. SO PLEASE, send me recipes that you have actually tried and let me know how it turned out. Please don't copy and paste from a recipe website...THANKS!

Becuase i have been outside of the house since February of 6th grade and i'm in 8th now.
i just cant take it anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!
the meat or the lying.
they know i really dont like the stuff anyway
and i only eat chicken and pork at home but STILL.
plz plz it kinda scares me cuz my mom is prone to temper tantrums (they can be really bad too!!! i mean REALLY bad.) but she's not trying to be bad. i'm sure my dad would be ok with it... but how...?
i simply brought up the subject of vegatianism and my mom threw one of her tantrums...she said that she would hope that i would be a strong person and be able to withstand eating the meat to make it easier for HER. omg!!! she said that vegatrians makes it really hard on everyone around them... it was hard to hear.
but really it wouldnt cuz i eat the meat scarcely anyway... a bite or two... and if i'm serving myself i usually hide it under some mashed potaotes or something and then throw it out with the rest so, nothing different.

I have been to the Kraft and Betty Crocker websites, and to tell the truth am not too impressed with the recipes there. I was just wanting to get everyones favorites so I could get some new ideas. I bought a can of chicken dumplings from Sweet Sue (aka Castleberry foods.) Maybe a week or two ago.

Today I get it from the pantry and the can has swelled. (I don't think it was like that when I bought it.)

I figure nothing of it, when I open the can the putrid smell that is almost exactly like dog crap spews from the can and fills our kitchen. I take that as a warning and set it with the lid still on (but opened) outside.

I'm going to call dept of public health food folks and see what they say. Anything else I should do?
