How about making it.....
12 eggs, separated
8 oz sugar
1 qt heavy cream
1 qt milk
Beat egg yolks with sugar until dissolved. Add milk and cream. Stiffly beat egg whites then add. Chill in refrigerator for several hours before serving.
Mix in 12oz. Rum, Whiskey, or Brandy.

Hi there; you may want to purchase the eggnog or use your favorite recipe and then buy the alcohol because the amount that they put in the pre mixes are not as good as if you were making this your self..If you also do this at home you can control the amount of alcohol that goes in the drink..Good Luck and Happy Holidays

Buy eggnog in a store. Buy a good rum (dark rums work nicely with eggnog). Mix them at home. Most pre-mixed varieties (which you can find at liquor stores) are REALLY NASTY, which is a shame, because a nice bit of boozy eggnog can be a beautiful thing.
