What exactly is clotted cream, as opposed to double cream? I heard that cloo\tted cream contains more calories than double cream, but if it's just cream that's been beaten until it clots, it should be the same. Shouldn't it?

I looked around, and was wondering if this was right:

The leftover parts of the cow, referred to as 'mechanically-separated meat parts'. That can include butt meat, stomach, brains and intestines. They are shoved into the intestines of the cattle along with fillers, hydrogenated fat and starch. Chemical preservatives, salt and MSG are often added.

On the other hand, a tofu dog is just that and honestly, they taste better and if you brush them with a little oil and barbeque sauce, they taste great on the BBQ. So does vegetarian pizza with extra cheese and shrimp skewers with mushrooms and pineapple.

In the course of speed-reading the yahoo main page several weeks ago, I ran across a short-cut tip for a cake that I THINK came from the Pennsylvania Dutch community. The author takes a chocolate cake mix and adds brewed coffee instead of the water called for in the recipe. Does anyone know of this recipe, and what icing you would use for this cake? It sounds easy and wonderful, but I can't remember what it was I actually saw! HELP!
